Burden and determinants of hyperuricemia among adults living with HIV at Lira Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda : a cross-sectional study.

Hyperuricemia is prevalent among adults living with HIV at LRRH and is strongly associated with modifiable cardiometabolic and behavioral risk factors, which support routine screening and integrated cardiovascular-metabolic management within HIV care services.

Prevalence and factors associated with atrial fibrillation among adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital, Western Uganda: a cross-sectional study

Hypertension, HIV infection, obesity, and poor glycemic control were significant associated factors and integrating ECG screening into diabetes care, particularly for high-risk patients may improve early detection and management in resource-limited settings.
