Mitigating Black-Box Score-Based Query Attacks via Gradient Confusion

Score-based black-box adversarial attacks pose a serious threat to deployed machine learning systems by exploiting repeated model queries to craft adversarial examples, requiring neither access to model parameters nor architecture. Existing defenses predominantly rely on stochastic output perturbations, which fail to p...

PersianAnonymizer: Evaluating LLM-Labeled Training for Efficient NER-based Anonymization in Persian

Results show that supervision from OSS_ZeroShot yields the strongest macro-F1 and LCR, while the resulting NER labels an entire 40K-message test set in approximately 2 minutes on one consumer GPU, establishing a practical path to high-quality, low-cost anonymization for Persian industrial data.

Random Logit Scaling: Defending Deep Neural Networks Against Black-Box Score-Based Adversarial Example Attacks

Machine learning models are increasingly adapted in various domains. However, adversarial examples pose a significant threat to the reliable deployment of these models. In recent years, some powerful adversarial example attacks have been proposed for the fast and query-efficient generation of adversarial examples, even...
