18-year trends in outcome and resuscitation process of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest by time of day
In this nationwide OHCA registry in Japan, neurological outcomes improved across all time-of-day categories over eighteen years, but improvement has recently plateaued, highlighting the urgent need for system-wide strategies to optimize 24-hour resuscitation systems and mitigate vulnerabilities in off-hours care.
