Cognitive decline in psychotic disorders: A longitudinal matched case-control study

Cognitive decline in schizophrenia showed cognitive decline relative to controls over time, whereas SZA and BD demonstrated less pronounced cognitive changes, consistent with both neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative models of psychotic illness.
