Cost-effectiveness of telemedicine interventions: A systematic literature review

The findings were mixed but frequently favorable: several teleconsultation, teledermatology, telestroke, and teletherapy interventions were cost-saving or dominant, whereas home telemonitoring for chronic disease was often not cost-effective at conventional thresholds.
