A Study on the Consequences of Environmental, Social, And Governance (ESG) Investing in Telangana State
ABSTRACT Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing integrates financial objectives with environmental protection, social responsibility, and sound corporate governance. This study examines the consequences of ESG investing in Telangana State, focusing on investor awareness, investment choices, business performance, sustainability, social responsibility, governance, and implementation barriers. Primary data were collected from 120 respondents through a structured questionnaire, and percentage analysis was used for interpretation. The findings indicate that ESG investing is increasingly recognized as a contributor to long-term growth, stakeholder confidence, corporate reputation, and responsible investment. However, low awareness, implementation costs, inconsistent reporting, and limited standardization remain important challenges requiring coordinated action.
