A novel receiver design is addressed with a novel receiver design that jointly exploits the SE gains of aggressive non-orthogonal transmission and the power-efficiency benefits of DFT-s-OFDM, to break the spectral-efficiency bottleneck in direct Device-to-Satellite communications.
