Strategic Risk Management in the Cyber Threat Era: The Impact of Information Security Governance on Competitive Advantage

The global business landscape is currently undergoing a fundamental transformation driven by the massive integration of digital technologies across organizational value chains. However, this accelerated digitalization brings a paradoxical consequence: while it enhances operational efficiency, it simultaneously expands the "attack surface" for increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Cyber threats are no longer merely technical disruptions to IT infrastructure; they have evolved into existential risks capable of paralyzing entire business strategies. Consequently, organizations are compelled to shift their risk management paradigm from a reactive-operational approach toward Strategic Risk Management (SRM) that is proactive and integrated with the company's long-term objectives. In a highly competitive market, digital resilience is now viewed as a new source of Competitive Advantage, fostering higher levels of digital trust among stakeholders, particularly customers and investors. Despite the widely recognized urgency of cybersecurity, a critical research problem persists: many organizations remain trapped in "siloed" governance models that focus strictly on technical compliance. The effectiveness of information asset protection depends heavily on the extent to which Information Security Governance (ISG) is internalized within leadership structures and organizational culture. Without a mature governance framework, cyber vulnerabilities can lead to significant financial losses, brand reputation damage, and the loss of intellectual property. This issue is further compounded by a distinct research gap in current literature; prior studies have predominantly focused on technical aspects, such as encryption or intrusion detection, without empirically linking them to an organization's dynamic capability to respond to strategic threats. Therefore, this article aims to bridge this gap by analyzing the influence of information security governance on competitive advantage within a strategic risk management framework to build competitive cyber resilience. Market Microstructure Dynamics in ASEAN-4 Capital Markets (2010 -2025): Liquidity Architecture, Price Discovery Mechanisms, and Regulatory Moderation under Systemic Shocks

This study develops an integrated and longitudinal investigation of market microstructure dynamics across four principal ASEAN equity markets—Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia—over the 2010–2025 period. The analysis concentrates on the structural interaction between liquidity provision, price discovery efficiency, and regulatory architecture within the context of three major global disturbances: the 2013 Taper Tantrum, the COVID-19 systemic shock (2020–2021), and the global monetary tightening cycle (2022–2025). While existing literature largely examines microstructure components in isolation or within single-country settings, this research reconceptualizes regulation as an endogenous moderating mechanism that shapes the dynamic interplay between liquidity and informational efficiency. The central proposition is that institutional robustness determines shock absorption capacity, recovery speed, and long-run market quality. Methodologically, the study applies a quantitative-explanatory longitudinal framework using daily data. Econometric procedures include multivariate GARCH specifications to estimate volatility persistence, Diebold-Yilmaz spillover indices with time-varying parameter VAR extensions to evaluate cross-market transmission, dynamic panel regression for institutional impact assessment, and event-study plus difference-in-differences estimators to isolate crisis effects. The Influence of the Holistic Strategic Management Framework in the Global Electric Vehicle Industry as a Navigation of Manufacturing Transformation and Axiological

Represents a transformative era for the global manufacturing sector, where the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry must reconcile rapid technological scaling with ethical sustainability. This research investigates the 10-year strategic outlook for EV manufacturing, focusing on the phenomenon of "Financial Resilience" where firms navigate high initial capital requirements through disciplined fiscal planning. By analyzing a longitudinal projection, this study demonstrates that strategic management incorporating tax efficiency through loss carryforward and optimized Marketing Expenses (stabilized at 2.5% to 3.0% of revenue) facilitates a robust transition from early-stage investment losses to long-term net profitability. From an epistemological perspective, the research evaluates the validity of market forecasting for the 2035 horizon, asserting that future manufacturing "truth" must be grounded in both empirical data and pragmatic utility. Furthermore, the study explores the axiological evolution of the industry, manufacturing success will be judged not only by economic output ( instrumental value ) but by its intrinsic contribution to global carbon neutrality and human welfare (moral value). The findings suggest that the 10-year manufacturing phenomenon will shift toward "Pragmatic Excellence," where success depends on the researcher's moral responsibility to maintain data integrity and policy relevance. Projections indicate that companies adopting this holistic framework can successfully evolve from tax-shielded recovery phases into global leaders of the sustainable energy transition.
