MclX modulates the process of mother cell lysis by SpoIIID in Bacillus thuringiensis

It is shown that MclX regulates mother cell lysis by inhibiting SpoIIID, a sporulation-specific transcription factor that represses cwlC, which encodes a key hydrolase required for lysis.
