CgMYC2 directly activates jasmonate-induced naringin biosynthesis in Citrus grandis 'Tomentosa'
It is demonstrated that CgMYC2, a jasmonate-responsive bHLH transcription factor, functions as a central activator of naringin biosynthesis, providing a molecular framework for the targeted improvement of bitter-flavonoid traits in citrus.
