Dual-Layer Spectral CT for Locoregional Assessment of Rectal Cancer: A Comparison with MRI in a Pilot Study

DLSCT showed high concordance with MRI for several locoregional imaging features of rectal cancer, and may provide complementary information, particularly when MRI is contraindicated or inconclusive, but these findings do not establish equivalence to MRI or diagnostic accuracy against histopathology.
