Characterization of Uromyces muscari and first confirmed report on Muscari armeniacum in Hungary

Cross-infection experiments demonstrated that U. muscari isolates from different Muscari species are genus-specific but not species-specific, which is the first report of U. muscari infecting M. armeniacum in Hungary.

Novel seco-dammarane triterpenes with antimicrobial activity against plant pathogens from Ailanthus altissima petioles

Results indicate that A. altissima petioles represent a promising source of antimicrobial phytochemicals, and could serve as lead compounds for the development of novel antimicrobial agents against certain phytopathogens.
