Two Bacillus PGPB Strains in Wheat and Soybean: Wheat Growth Promotion Without Detectable Rhizosphere Microbiome Restructuring

Plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) are increasingly deployed as biofertilizers, yet the link between an inoculant’s genomic potential and its realized effect on the plant is rarely assessed within an integrative framework that jointly captures the rhizosphere microbiome, plant phenotype, and strain genome. Two Baci...

Growth-Promoting Potential of Bacillus subtilis GMG1288 in Wheat Under Abiotic Stress: Effects of Application Method and Timing

The results indicate that the effective application regimen for B. subtilis GMG1288 is stress-specific rather than universal, and suggest that application strategies for PGPB-based biological products should be guided by strain-specific phenotypic activity profiles rather than by generic method/timing schemes.
