The bidirectional association between highly processed food consumption and major depressive disorder among adults in Spain.
A bidirectional association between HPF consumption and major depressive disorder is suggested, and individuals with higher HPF intake are more likely to experience MDD, and those with MDD tend to report greater HPF consumption.
