Thrombin generation and the pharmacodynamics of oral anticoagulants.
A unified theoretical framework is established, grounded in mechanistic rationale and supported by experimentation, to better define the pharmacodynamics of anticoagulation therapy using thrombin generation as a common language to compare anticoagulant effects across drug classes.
