A novel natural compound from Cleistocalyx operculatus enhances the anti-mycobacterial response by inhibiting ferroptosis.

It is suggested that cleistoperlone J holds promise as an adjunctive therapeutic agent for tuberculosis chemotherapy by inhibiting ferroptosis in Mtb-infected cells.
