Ribosomal Protein RACK1 as a Potential Substrate of PKR Protein Kinase: In Vitro Analysis

Although the protein kinase PKR binds to the ribosome, it is not the kinase that directly phosphorylates RACK1 and causes its dissociation from the ribosome.
