Amniotic fluid from pregnancies with polycystic ovary syndrome showed a distinct metabolic profile dominated by lipid remodeling, identifying phospholipid remodeling as a major amniotic-fluid metabolic signature of polycystic ovary syndrome-related intrauterine exposure.
