YBX1-mediated m5C modification of exosomal LGALS3 derived from M2 tumor-associated macrophages drives colorectal cancer cell malignant behaviors.

Public database analysis exhibited that lipid metabolism-related gene LGALS3 was upregulated in CRC stem cells and M2 macrophages, providing a highly potential target for CRC.

GATA6-mediated transcriptional activation and METTL3/IGF2BP2-dependent post-transcriptional stabilization upregulate CDC20 to promote the malignant progression of colorectal cancer and immune escape

CDC20, upregulated transcriptionally by GATA6 and post-transcriptionally by METTL3, drove CRC progression, angiogenesis, and immune evasion and reversed the inhibitory effects of METTL3 knockdown on CRC cell malignancy and immune escape.
