The effect of increases in physical activity on oral health and function in older adults in Singapore: A longitudinal causal inference study
Highlights • Increasing physical activity lowered poor self-rated oral health in older adults.• Self-rated oral health gains plateaued beyond 450 MET-min/week of activity.• Reducing activity worsened masticatory function in a dose-response manner.• Eliminating all activity raised masticatory impairment risk by 21%.
