In silico docking and molecular dynamics simulation analysis of phytochemicals targeting human metapneumovirus fusion protein

Using computer-based screening, natural compounds from the IMPPAT 2.0 database were tested against the virus’s fusion (F) protein and several phytochemicals showed stable binding, especially at key functional regions, suggesting they could block viral entry.

Structural, functional and biophysical characterization of two cryptic RNA methyltransferases (Rv3366 and Rv3919c) of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

This study elucidates the structural, biophysical and functional properties of two predicted M. tuberculosis RNA MTases, Rv3366 and Rv3919c, and establishes a framework for future studies to explore their mechanistic roles and evaluate their potential as therapeutic targets.
