Association between sinus rhythm restoration and sleep-disordered breathing at three months after pulmonary vein isolation for persistent atrial fibrillation
Clinically, AHI improved in 39% of patients, and 51% had reduced severity of sleep-disordered breathing, and subsequent recurrence of AF was significantly reduced in the patients with improved AHI.
