Locus of control and sense of coherence as predictors of academic achievement among medical and nursing students: a cross-sectional study.

SOC and female gender are the most consistent and powerful independent predictors of academic achievement among medical and nursing students and medical education curricula should integrate interventions to strengthen students' SOC to enhance their psychological resilience and academic success.

Effectiveness of game-based learning in mental health nursing education on self-directed learning and academic self-efficacy among nursing students.

This study evaluated the effectiveness of GBL integrated into a mental health nursing internship on SDL and academic self-efficacy among undergraduate nursing students and found gains in motivation, critical thinking, self-directed learning (SDL), and academic self-efficacy.
