Adaptive exposure therapy for Social Anxiety Disorder: a preliminary validation in virtual reality

The current findings indicate that the adaptive condition successfully constrained anxiety within an optimal range of social anxiety: sufficiently elevated to promote therapeutic habituation, yet low enough to minimize dropout.
