Disruption of quorum sensing and biofilm formation by lawsone in gram-negative bacteria

This study shows that lawsone effectively inhibits QS-regulated virulence factors and biofilm formation in gram-negative pathogens, like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Serratia marcescens, and Chromobacterium violaceum.
