Trends in respiratory virus positivity across urban and rural hospitals in Ontario over three seasons

Highlights • Over 170,000 respiratory virus tests were analyzed across eight hospitals over multiple seasons.• Consistent positivity rates but variable peak timing were observed.• Seasonal shifts in peak positivity were observed for influenza and non-influenza respiratory viruses.
