Biomimetic Coacervate Coatings: From Phase Separation Fundamentals to Advanced Biomedical Applications

This review systematically elucidates the rapidly evolving field of biomimetic coacervate coatings, bridging the fundamental thermodynamic principles of liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) with advanced biomedical translations. While conventional surface modifications for medical implants frequently fail to maintain...

Betaine-driven Keap1 methylation promotes p62-mediated autophagy and Nrf2 stabilization to alleviate glutathione-dependent redox dyshomeostasis in liver injury

Evidence is provided that betaine (trimethylglycine; BET) can regulate the Keap1-Nrf2 axis through modulation of Keap1 and that Keap1 cysteine methylation may represent a regulatory node linking betaine to p62-mediated autophagy, Nrf2 stabilization, and GSH homeostasis.

Kinetic study of glyphosate biodegradation by actinobacterial consortium RH1: implications for bioremediation

The RH1 actinobacterial consortium efficiently degraded glyphosate, fitting best to the Haldane–Andrews kinetic model, highlighting RH1’s potential for bioremediation of glyphosate-contaminated soils.
