PCSK9 inhibitors for lipid-lowering treatment in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease: a health technology assessment

A health technology assessment framework is applied to systematically evaluate the use of PCSK9 inhibitors in patients with ASCVD and finds that evolocumab demonstrates relative advantages in lipid-lowering efficacy, cardiovascular outcomes, and economic value for patients with ASCVD.
