Change in pupil diameter after phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation.

Phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation was associated with a significant reduction in scotopic pupil diameter, independent of age, sex, and eye laterality, and this finding should be considered during preoperative planning.
