Intersection of genotype and environment on the dynamics of the virome and microbiome of an estuarine cnidarian

It is demonstrated that N. vectensis genotypes from locations along a latitudinal gradient maintain distinct viral and microbial associations, highlighting geographically structured host–microbe–virus relationships.
