Repurposing Ponatinib Hydrochloride as an Antibacterial and Antibiofilm Agent Against Multidrug-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus

Collectively, ponatinib hydrochloride exhibits potent antibacterial activity against multidrug-resistant S. aureus both in vitro and in vivo and represents a promising candidate for anti-MRSA therapy.
