The arcuate fascicle middle temporal gyrus connection in chimpanzees: A missing link in language evolution?

The theoretical implications of the latest findings regarding the evolution of the arcuate fascicle suggest that the last common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees already possessed this neural architecture, casting into doubt the idea of a saltatory, human-specific emergence of language.

Longitudinal MRI template of the baboon brain from birth to adolescence

This resource is made available to provide a normalization target for baboon data across the lifespan, including intermediate timepoints, and facilitate neuroimaging research in baboons, comparative research with humans and nonhuman primate species for which developmental templates are available.
