Everyone Conforms, No One Believes: Pluralistic Ignorance in LLM Agent Populations

The near-absence of cascades suggests LLM simulations may systematically overestimate the stability of social norms, missing the fragile tipping-point dynamics that drive real-world norm change in human societies.
