STAT6 Targets the Autophagy Pathway to Regulate Microglial Senescence in Cognitive Impairment Caused by Cerebral Small-Vessel Disease

Mechanistically, it was found that phosphorylated STAT6 (pSTAT6) enhanced autophagy, which reduced the burden of senescent microglia and thereby ameliorated CSVD-induced VCI, providing insights into the potential of targeting the STAT6 pathway in VCI associated with CSVD.

Photobiomodulation of immune crosstalk rescues neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease models.

It is suggested that the PBM-induced modulation of crosstalk between microglia, astrocytes, and CD8+ T cells is closely related to cognitive improvement, which resolves neuroinflammation and restores cognition in AD models-a translatable strategy for combating neurodegeneration.
