Privacy-Preserving Zero-Day Malware Detection in Encrypted Traffic Using Temporal-Structural Transformers

Findings support metadata-based temporal and structural modelling as a privacy-preserving approach to zero-day malware detection in encrypted traffic as well as robustness tests show limited degradation under the evaluated perturbations.
