Network Security and Intrusion Detection
Abstract
The proliferation of connected sensors, edge devices, and cloud services has made smart infrastructure cybersecurity threats more prevalent than solutions. In this research, we see how ML models may prevent and detect abnormalities, malware, insider attacks, and distributed denial of service (DDoS). One way to decrease latency in deployments is by using a hybrid cloud-edge architecture. While working with limited resources, models might benefit from federated learning, pruning, and transfer. We observe their actions and traffic patterns for the purpose of instruction. Privacy, encrypted updates, and comments guarantee conformity. The results of the experiments show that smart ecosystems are feasible with a high detection rate, little overhead, and a low false positive rate.
The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

It is found that roles of MVPs in startups were not fully aware by entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs should consider a systematic approach to fully explore the value of MVP, as a multiple facet product (MFP).

It is found that what perceived as biggest challenges by software startups do vary across different life cycle stages, even though its significance decreases when the learning focuses of the startups move from problem to solution and their products mature.
