Abstract

Simple Summary Uterine adenosarcoma is a rare type of cancer of the uterus. This study looked at the clinical features, treatments, recurrence, and long-term outcomes of 43 women diagnosed with this cancer in seven hospitals in Türkiye between 2016 and 2026. Most women were postmenopausal and had early-stage disease at diagnosis. The most common symptoms were pelvic pain and abnormal uterine bleeding. During an average follow-up of 6 years, about one-third of the women developed a recurrence, most often in the pelvis. Overall, long-term survival was favorable, with about 80% of women remaining alive 5 years after diagnosis. However, certain tumor features were associated with a higher risk of recurrence and death. In particular, sarcomatous overgrowth and lymphovascular space invasion were linked to poorer outcomes. These findings suggest that these tumor features may help doctors identify women who require closer follow-up and more individualized postoperative care.

Clinical presentation, management and outcomes of differentiated thyroid cancer: a tertiary center experience

Pat age, lymph node metastases, capsular invasion, and tumor size were the most important prognostic factors in relation to recurrence rate, while the roles of tumor multifocality and lymphovascular invasion were insignificant.

The Effect of Clinicopathological Features and Postoperative Management on Prognosis in Male Breast Cancer

Background Male breast cancer (MBC) represents a rare type of malignant tumor, comprising less than 1% of all breast cancer cases. Therapies for MBC patients are typically adapted from breast cancer treatments in women. This study systematically performed a retrospective evaluation of the clinicopathological features a...
