Abstract
The article is devoted to the concept of scientific and aesthetic paradigm, an idea that goes back to the views of T. Kuhn and Michel Foucault. While T. Kuhn defines a scientific paradigm, M. Foucault speaks more about an aesthetic paradigm, epistemes, which is a set of rules for creating a work of literature, music, or cinema, and the relationship between words and things. According to Michel Foucault, the world of words has been separated from the world of things since the 19th century. Thus, it turns out that the world created by literature and art is re-constructed, and in fact, it is completely separated from the world of everyday life and things. The modern aesthetic paradigm, referred to as meta-modern, describes its own concepts for creating works of literature or art. These concepts include oscillation, compression, “hot and cold,” “new sincerity,” and “new simplicity.” These concepts are at the core of creating modern works of art, music, and literature. An important conclusion is the mutual separation of the aesthetic and the ethical.
