Creating Sensation through Dynamic Expressions Use in Qura'nic Texts

2026 · International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Growth Evaluation · Vol 7, pp. 435-438 · 0 citations

Abstract

Recently, linguists are trying to keep pace with the new fields. They try to merge different topics of linguistics. For instance, topics in syntax, for example, are studied pragmatically. Here, a grammatical topic is dealt with from a semantic view point. Dynamic verbs are those linguistic expressions that denote activity. Duration is what matters in them. The present study covers that topic by analyzing a selected number of Quranic texts. Accordingly, the present study tries to answer the following questions: (1) Is there a correlation between dynamic verbs and scalar values? (2) Is there a difference of meaning between dynamic verbs of two and multi- values? (3) What are the semantic aspects being present with the use of such kinds of verbs? In accordance with the mentioned questions, the present study tries to achieve the following aims: (1) Showing whether (or not) there is a correlation between dynamic verbs and scalar values (2) Finding out whether (or not) there is a difference in meaning between dynamic verbs of two and multi- values. (3) Pinpointing the semantic aspects of dynamic verbs. Hence, it is hypothesized that: (1) There is a correlation between dynamic verbs and scalar values. (2)There is a difference of meaning between dynamic verbs of two and multi- values.(3)Personification is one of the semantic aspects being outlined when such verbs are handed.
