Abstract

The key innovation cycle changes induced by the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have been studied. It has been revealed that AI changes not only the set of tools, but also the very logic of the innovation cycle by transforming it from a linear model to an iterative and adaptive structure. Particular attention has been paid to the influence of AI on the early stages of the innovation process, including idea generation, hypothesis testing and prototyping. In separate, the features of using AI in large corporations and venture capital companies, where it increases the speed of data processing, the quality of project selection and the efficiency of risk management, have been analysed. At the same time, the existing limitations in using AI potential in the innovation process that are related to data quality, transparency of models, resource dependence and organisational implementation barriers have been identified.
