Abstract
The article conducts a comparative analysis of the concepts of immortality in the philosophical systems of Y.E. Golosovker and A.N. Whitehead. The research focuses on identifying common features of realistic ontology in culture regarding the understanding of immortality as an ontological phenomenon. The goal of the work is to reveal the similarities in understanding immortality as a real, rather than a constructive phenomenon in Whitehead's process philosophy and Golosovker's philosophy of culture. Key aspects of understanding immortality as identity, eternity, and meaning-making are examined during the study. The research employs the distinction of ontological, logical, and psychological meanings of logical principles made by Jan Łukasiewicz. Based on the ideas of the imaginary logic of Nikolai Vasilyev, the analysis of the logical and ontological significance of contradiction is conducted, exploring the foundation of soft logics of myth and fuzzy logics of everyday life. The methodological basis of the research includes a comparative analysis of philosophical concepts and ontological and logical approaches to understanding immortality. Special attention is given to the study of relational ontology and imaginative realism. The main results demonstrate that both thinkers regard immortality not as an abstract opposition to the mortal but as an ontologically significant phenomenon that imbues finite existence with meaning. The work reveals the specifics of understanding the logical principle of contradiction in both systems, transformed into the principle of opposition. The scientific novelty of the article lies in identifying common features in understanding immortality as procedural reality, as well as analyzing the peculiarities of "soft" logic of oppositions in the concepts of Golosovker and Whitehead. As a result of the study, the specifics of the epistemology of imaginative realism are shown: imagination is described as an agent of actualization and constitution of a concrete universe. Based on Golosovker's logic of myth, the imaginative logic of the permissibility of reality is reconstructed. The imaginative unity of the concepts of fate, reality, and freedom is described.
