MITOGENOME REPORT The complete mitochondrial genome of the thrips predator Montandoniola moraguesi (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae) and its phylogenetic analysis
The complete mitochondrial genome of M. moraguesi is presented to characterize its genomic organization and clarify its phylogenetic position within Anthocoridae, and molecular validation for the morphological classification of the tribe Oriini is provided.
Phylogenetic analyses based on partitioned mitochondrial datasets strongly support the monophyly of the subfamily Reduviinae and reveal that A. geniculata forms a close sister-group relationship with A. ruficeps and A. pedestris.
