A cross-sectional, anonymous online survey was conducted in which 43 competency areas were rated across five nursing roles using a 0 to 100% scale. Descriptive analyses were performed to identify the top five core competency areas for each role.

Results

Across all roles, data protection and privacy competency was consistently rated as highly relevant.
