Abstract
In corporate development, strategic outsourcing has become critical for firms seeking both operational efficiency and sustained competitive advantage. However, outsourcing decisions are often complicated by information asymmetry, bounded rationality, and the limitations of single-dimensional evaluation methods. This paper explores how financial valuation tools and management accounting perspectives can be integrated to optimize strategic outsourcing decisions. Utilizing a qualitative conceptual analysis, this study develops an integrated decision-making framework that combines traditional financial evaluation tools, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC), and Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), with management accounting approaches such as actor-based models and value chain analysis. The study argues that outsourcing decisions driven solely byshort-term cost-minimization or reliant exclusively on financial forecasting are insufficient. Instead, a multidimensional framework that incorporates both objective financial indicators and qualitative management insights can significantly reduce information asymmetry. This holistic approach aligns outsourcing strategies with long-term corporate value creation, thereby offering a viable framework for enterprise decision-making.
