Abstract
Entertainment-oriented electronic voting allows fans to influence rankings and competition outcomes, but a cross-sectional survey measures intention to vote again rather than subsequent behavior. This study extends the DeLone and McLean model by separating two mechanisms relevant when users can complete voting steps but cannot inspect internal vote handling. Trust represents reliance on registration, counting, confidentiality, and administration, whereas Self-Efficacy represents confidence in completing the task. A purposive survey yielded 441 responses from Indonesian Mnet Plus users aged at least 17 years who had voted at least three times during the preceding year. Women comprised 91.2% of the sample and 49.7% were aged 20–24 years, limiting generalization beyond fan-community users. The final SmartPLS CB-SEM run showed that User Satisfaction had the strongest direct association with Continuance of Use (β = 0.604, p < 0.001), while archived PLS diagnostics indicated a large effect size (f² = 0.423). System Quality was the strongest quality antecedent of User Satisfaction (β = 0.498; f² = 0.219), and Information Quality strongly predicted Self-Efficacy (β = 0.770; f² = 0.419). By contrast, Information Quality had a statistically significant but practically negligible effect on User Satisfaction (f² = 0.019), and Self-Efficacy did not predict User Satisfaction. The archived PLS model explained 51.7% of User Satisfaction and 29.7% of Continuance of Use. The findings distinguish technical quality, service support, procedural reliance, task capability, and post-use evaluation. The interpretation is limited by the cross-sectional design, intention-based outcome, purposive recruitment, demographic concentration, and separately preserved estimators.
The number of seats won by the National Mandate Party (PAN) in the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD DKI Jakarta) increased from 2 seats (2014) to 9 seats (2019), and then to 10 seats (2024); however, the rate of increase slowed sharply from an additional 7 seats to just 1 seat, falling 5 seats short of the...

Online communities often treat large support margins in public elections as strong mandates. We argue that such margins can overstate the independent scrutiny behind a decision. Using 198,275 free-text rationales from Wikipedia admin elections, we introduce vote-text divergence, a measure that flags a decisive vote pai...
What accounts for the variation in the cost of voting in the American states between the 1996 and 2024 presidential elections? Parties act rationally to manipulate voting costs, expanding access when it mobilizes supporters and restricting access when it risks benefiting opponents. This study tests these expectations u...
