Abstract

With the accelerated construction of new power systems dominated by new energy, the traditional equipment management model centered on “fault repair” and “regular maintenance” is no longer able to meet the high reliability, high flexibility, and high resilience requirements of power grid operation. This article proposes a new paradigm of equipment health management for the new power system, aiming to achieve a strategic transformation from “passive response” to “active immunity” and from “single reliability” to “comprehensive optimization”. This paradigm reconstructs the connotation of device health based on the “seven-dimensional integration” theoretical framework, expanding intrinsic safety from physical attributes to a complete spectrum covering design, human factors, supply chain, intelligence, green, and resilience. At the same time, an innovative “Five Doors and Nine Passes” lean control model has been constructed throughout the entire life cycle of “regulation, procurement, construction, operation, and return”, providing an operable business process loop for the implementation of management concepts. To support the above management framework, this article systematically elaborates on the design of a device health management platform based on the “cloud edge end” collaborative architecture. The platform achieves the integration of full chain data and intelligent decision-making through a unified database and digital twin technology. Finally, this article analyzes the challenges faced by the implementation of the new paradigm and proposes a collaborative evolution path centered on “organizational change, data-driven, and technological integration”. This study provides a forward-looking and practical theoretical framework and system solutions for power enterprises to systematically improve their asset health level and build a solid foundation for the safety of new power systems.
