Abstract

: This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing pedagogical tools driven by AI and their effects on BEEd student teaching practices, understanding their perceptions and experiences about AI-driven tools as related to future teaching practices and classroom management, and challenges and opportunities with the integration of AI-driven pedagogical approaches into teacher preparation programs. Data collection involved interviewing BEEd students of courses integrated with AI and analyzing their response on integration issues of AI in their learning processes. Findings indicated that AI-based pedagogical tools dramatically influenced the teaching practice in terms of adding student ability to acquire knowledge of embedding technology in classroom instruction. BEEd students argued that the AI tools provided personalized learning which they thought would enhance future classroom management capabilities because it could cater to the multiple needs of various students. Most respondents showed positive perceptions, suggesting that AI allows them to think critically and solve problems in such a way that they were flexible and adaptable in their teaching practices. However, the flaws were especially observed in training and resources for teacher preparation programs to ensure effective AI implementation. Some of the reasons enumerated were a lack of technical support and a general concern that balancing traditional teaching methods with AI tools was not possible.
