Formation of Ethnopedagogical and Ethnocultural Competencies Through IT projects in Teaching the Manas Studies Course
Abstract
This article examines modern approaches to the development of ethnopedagogical and ethnocultural competencies in students taking the “Manas Studies” course in higher education institutions. The aim of the study is to scientifically substantiate the effectiveness of using IT projects to teach the Manas epic and to determine their role in the educational process. The paper reveals the theoretical foundations of ethnopedagogy and ethnoculture and highlights their importance in students’ personal development. Based on the theories of constructivism and connectivism, an integrative learning model is proposed, including stages of information acquisition, analysis, digital product creation, and reflection. Special attention is paid to the pedagogical potential of multimedia presentations, digital maps, websites, podcasts, and interactive tests. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the synthesis of traditional ethnopedagogy and digital pedagogy. The results show that IT projects contribute to the comprehensive development of students' ethnopedagogical, ethnocultural, and digital competencies. The findings can be applied in teaching the “Manas Studies” course and in the digital transformation of humanities education.
