TL;DR

A light cryptography technology is presented as a way of ensuring the safety of sensor data over radio transmission in 5G networks, premised on the pseudorandom number generators that are specially created to address the needs of the 5G systems.

Abstract

The future 5G networks have to deal with the challenge of serving the global communications of the millions of devices comprising the Internet-of-Things. Conventional 4G mobile systems have a large computational capacity, thus applications that rely on the communication of sensor data (accelerators, GPS, and others) can implement heavy end-to-end securing solutions. New 5G mobile components are however normally less capable and of low clock speed. This, consequently, requires the creation of new sensor data transmission security solutions in streaming. This paper presents a light cryptography technology as a way of ensuring the safety of sensor data over radio transmission in 5G networks. The given solution is premised on the pseudorandom number generators that are specially created to address the needs of the 5G systems. It develops a simulation scenario and a first real deployment so as to test the performance of the contribution.
