APPLICATION OF VARIOUS GROWTH REGULATORS IN CROP PRODUCTION

Abstract

In modern conditions, the study and production of natural plant growth regulators occupies an increasingly significant place. Due to the fact that seed treatment with growth regulators affects the metabolism of germinating crops, research with growth regulators is of theoretical and practical importance. The use of plant growth regulators in crop production should be aimed at solving, first of all, strategic tasks - increasing yields and increasing their resistance to adverse environmental factors with the obligatory condition of their harmlessness. Growth regulators have an important property - to increase the resistance of onion plants to adverse environmental factors. The treatment of crops with physiologically active substances of various origins makes it possible to fully utilize the potential inherent in them without disrupting the gene system. The interaction of all parts of plants is based on a perfect system of regulation, which is carried out by phytohormones. To launch the phytohormonal system, various agricultural practices are used related to the treatment of onion seeds with growth-regulating drugs. When planting onions in the open ground, they are influenced by meteorological, soil, biotic and anthropogenic factors. Pre-sowing treatment makes it possible to minimize the negative impact of these factors and create the most favorable conditions for the emergence of seedlings.
